​Seascape is located inside the North Sea Observatory; a stunning feat of innovative architecture, standing against the horizon of Lincolnshire's Coastal County Part. The Coastal County Park begins with us over at the Observatory,  and continues by the beautiful coastline heading north, to Sutton-on-sea. We are the perfect place to begin or end your exploration of all the coastal views, & natures reserves, the park has to offer.

As for the Lincolnshire coast, in terms of wildlife, it is best known for its migratory seabirds; such as skuas, seagulls, waders, and terns. Making the environment a perfect place for birdwatchers alike. Nearby seal colonies lie further along the coast, with Donna Nook hosting up to 2,000 grey seal pups, a noisy and magical sight for those interested in sea-life.

The North Sea Observatory was opened in 2018, part of a coastal regeneration project, aiming to create a landmark for the Lincolnshire coast. Via architectural design; being a peaceful alternative to other traditional seaside cafes, the Observatory proved successful, boosting tourism sustainably.

Furthermore the architecture of the building, stands by reinforced concrete stilts driven deep into the sand, allowing it to withstand tidal changes and storm surges as well as helping minimise environmental disruption.

Inside the Observatory lies panoramic windows, making it the perfect spot for sunrise coffees (hosted by us), as well as bird spotting and quiet reading. The observatory provides an atmosphere never seen before, with the stunning view of the ocean being all the eye can see.
